Email invitation from Tom McClintock

(Found this in the Inbox.  I will add it to the Upcoming events page.  Looks like fun.)
Dear Friend:

I write to invite you to an upcoming forum I am hosting with Representative Wally Herger to address wastewater treatment issues.

The forum will focus on the topics of wastewater treatment regulation, fees and facilities.  It is the responsibility of Congress to resolve these issues, and the first step is to hear from those impacted by the underlying regulatory burdens.

I hope you will be able to join us for this important discussion. Invitations have been extended to federal and California state regulatory agencies, as well as local community officials (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, California Environmental Protection Agency and the California Regional Water Quality Control Board have confirmed their attendance).

Please find the details for the meeting below:

Wastewater Issues Forum
Monday, September 27th at 10:00 AM
Placer County Board of Supervisors Chamber
175 Fulweiler Avenue, Auburn

Should you have any questions regarding this event or need additional information, please contact my District Director, Rocky Deal at 916-786-5560.

Sincerely,

Tom

Interesting idea but a bit of a stretch. Its more likely that they are just turning a hot topic into a campaign event. Being interested in the topic I plan to go and see what they say if I can make it.
